Suddenly outlaws who are forced to flee for their lives, Edlyn and Maddock escape to Ravenshire Forest and the desolate mountains beyond. There, they begin to discover that their meeting may have been due to more than chance, for their lives prove bound by a fate that neither of them could have possibly imagined.
